About the Author

We were sorry to hear of the passing of Maureen Noble, one of the pioneers of machine quilting, on July 31, 2013. It was a privilege to work with her.

Maureen was a best-selling author who taught her machine-quilting techniques throughout the United States, Canada, and South Africa. Her generosity of spirit led her to organize The Plymouth PieceMakers, a quilt group formed to make and donate quilts to newborns, those suffering from long-term illness, and others in need.
